Description
Roz’s shield. He has a face that animates when Roz knocks and rolls well enough. In life he was a Genasi (Water); Roz saw that form when he died at the arena.
Every time he closes his eyes he is in heaven with Selûne, who gave him to Roz on purpose.
He is also a party line — other gods borrow his face. Malar in 05-Shopping Spree > A conversation with Malar, Asmodeus in 09-Avenj’s Death > A conversation with Jimmothy. He doesn’t get a choice about sharing Roz’s secrets with them.
What we know
- He does not trust the lycanthropes (Ferrar, Thompson, and so on)
- He knew about the rumor of a Three Wizards apprentice at The Shaded Cavern, which is what sent us to The Blue Apprentice
- Asked for his thoughts before we split up in 15-Joining Forces, he refused, told Torgar to “let the light shine on this one” (meaning Roz), and left
- He was made in The Great Forge in The Obsidian Mountains (17-In Theratinas Head > Next steps). Roz asked because Raelor wants a shield
