Cross-Compatible Subclass: This subclass originates from the Vagabond class

Note that cross-compatible subclasses might be stronger or weaker than other subclasses.

The GM decides if a subclass should be cross-compatible in your campaign.

Master the Sword to Survive in a Harsh World

You were once an honorable blademaster without peer. But those days are long gone…

Subclass Features

Infamy (Level 3)

Your violent reputation precedes you and gives you the following benefits. Choose the Deception or Intimidation skill. You gain proficiency and Expertise in the chosen skill.

Grudge (Level 3)

As a Bonus Action, you can hold a grudge against a creature you can see within 30 feet of yourself that has dealt damage to you or one of your allies. This grudge lasts for 1 minute, until the target dies, or until you use this feature’s Bonus Action again.

At the start of each of your turns while you hold a grudge, you gain a Grudge Battle Die, which is a d6. You can only have one such Battle Die at a time. You can only use your Grudge Battle Die to perform maneuvers targeting the creature against whom you hold a grudge.

Lone Wolf (Level 6)

You’re used to being outnumbered, granting you the following benefits.

Outnumbered, Not Outmatched. When you roll Initiative and there are more enemies than allies in the Initiative order, you have Advantage on your Initiative roll.

Stand Alone. While no ally is within 5 feet of you and you don’t have the Incapacitated condition, enemies can’t have Advantage on attack rolls against you.

Killing Stroke (Level 10)

When a creature you can see within 5 feet of yourself makes an attack against you, you can take a Reaction to make one attack with a Melee weapon against the attacker. You can draw a weapon as a part of this Reaction. Resolve your attack before the triggering attack. On a hit, the triggering attack automatically misses you.

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a Short or Long Rest unless you expend two Battle Dice (no action required) to restore your use of it.

Swordmaster (Level 14)

Once per turn when you miss with an attack roll, you can repeat that attack against the same target.
